My role at Frigcorp is Senior Service Manager. As part of my responsibilities, I engineer, co-ordinate and project manage HVAC installations and BMS Integrations. I liaise with most of our internal team, as well as clients in order to provide tailored technical solutions. An important part of my work is to supervise, support and mentor Frigcorp team members, ensuring quality work and safety regulations are observed.

I began working in the building industry in 1982 with an apprenticeship, secured upon completing Secondary Education. I developed a keen interest in Airconditioning and the range of applications and opportunities it provided both domestically and commercially before joining Frigcorp in 1999.

I hold a Certificate in Refrigeration Mechanics, Certificate in Electrical Wiring, Certificate in Fitting and Turning , as well as, Accreditation Certificates in Ozone Protection, Confined Spaces and Health and Safety.

An achievement of which I am proud is that I have been in the Airconditioning trade for 37 years, 25 of which have been at Frigcorp. A project that I am incredibly proud of is the refurbishment of the A/C plant at 22 Market Street, Sydney which is a 14 storey commercial tower in the CBD. Works entailed the design, co-ordination and construction of the entire plant. I project managed the work and was responsible for engineering and designing both the HVAC and BMS systems implemented.

The variety of work and projects that become available keeps motivation high and there is genuine desire to successfully complete jobs and maintain high client satisfaction. There is obvious mateship at Frigcorp and I enjoy engaging in collegial and professional dialogue with David Price who I started my career with. It is reassuring to know that I am supported by him and that we have a relationship based on mutual respect, trust and loyalty.

I have been playing competition tennis for over 40 years. I still enjoy playing and am proud to say that I can still outrun and outplay the up-and-coming younger players!
