What is your role at the company, and what are your primary responsibilities?
At Frigcorp, I manage key accounts, oversee project tendering and quoting, and provide technical assistance to the HVAC team. My role ensures client satisfaction, drives new business opportunities, and supports our team in delivering high-quality, efficient HVAC solutions.
How did you get started in this industry?
I “fell” into the industry as my Dad was is in Air Conditioning (so I didn’t really have a choice)
What is your professional background or educational experience?
I have 17 years of industry experience with varying sized companies, having completed my trade course at Ultimo TAFE in 2009. I've worked with a wide range of equipment, from RAC systems to large chillers, and have held various roles; from admin to Service Manager. I spent 5 years at Carrier, working as a technician, before progressing to account manager and finally service manager.
Can you describe a project or achievement you're particularly proud of?
I am proud of being able to successfully convert nearly all of the clients I’ve been assigned into larger accounts. I pride myself on being able to build strong relationships, deeply understanding each client's unique needs, and identifying opportunities to expand our services. By consistently delivering high-quality solutions and maintaining open, proactive communication, I am able to gain clients' trust and demonstrate added value Frigcorp can provide.
What do you enjoy most about working at Frigcorp?
What I enjoy most about working at Frigcorp is the strong team environment and the genuine sense of belonging. The company has a culture where everyone's contributions are recognised and valued, making it a place where I feel truly appreciated.
What’s a fun fact about you that people might not know?
I built the home I currently live in and have built a 10 second streetcar
