Frigcorp Supports Vinnies & SpinalCure Australia at ‘Another Ashes Showdown!’

Frigcorp Group was proud to be a major sponsor of St Vincent de Paul Society NSW’s Another Ashes Showdown lunch, held at the beautiful Hilton Sydney and Glass Brasserie, in support of two important causes close to our hearts – Vinnies NSW and SpinalCure Australia.

The afternoon brought together sporting legends, industry leaders and supporters for a memorable day of entertainment, connection and fundraising, while helping raise awareness and support for the important work of both organisations.

The day kicked off in style, with former Australian cricket captain Michael Clarke putting his skills to the test in custom cricket nets set up in the Hilton’s drive-through. Guests had the opportunity to watch Clarke in action while hearing his thoughts and predictions ahead of the upcoming Ashes series.

The celebrations then continued upstairs at Glass Brasserie, where the lunch was hosted by Wallaby great Matt Burke. Guests were treated to a live recording of cricket legend Mike Whitney’s How’s That? podcast, featuring an incredible panel of sporting greats including Michael Kasprowicz, Moises Henriques, Mark Ella, Benny Elias, Steve “Blocker” Roach, Jai Arrow and Campbell Graham.

And, of course, no Vinnies event would be complete without a little Frigcorp fun – including a Frigcorp footy toss through the venue!

Beyond the sporting entertainment, the event highlighted the importance of giving back to the community. St Vincent de Paul Society NSW continues to provide vital support to people experiencing hardship, while SpinalCure Australia works to improve the lives of people living with spinal cord injury and their families.

Frigcorp is proud to support both organisations and contribute to initiatives that make a meaningful difference in the community.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day such a success, as well as the Vinnies team for organising such a fantastic event.

It was a wonderful afternoon of sport, laughter, connection and, most importantly, supporting causes that make a real difference.
