Location: 29 Baywater Drive, Wentworth Point
Client: Mitsubishi Electric
Delivered By: Frigcorp Group

Project Overview
Frigcorp Group was engaged to deliver a complete security system retrofit and access control upgrade at Mitsubishi Electric’s Wentworth Point facility.
The site’s existing infrastructure consisted of multiple legacy systems from previous tenancies, including four incompatible access and alarm platforms and no functional CCTV system. The objective was to replace outdated hardware with a modern, unified security solution, delivered during the site’s transition into full operational use.
Scope of Works
Unified Access Control System
Frigcorp removed all outdated electronic controllers and installed a new, centralised access control platform.
The upgrade included:
- New card readers and electronic door locks
- Long-range RFID readers for vehicle entry/exit
- New controllers, power supplies, and structured cabling
- Central management software with time-based access control
- Full commissioning, training, and documentation

Integrated Security Alarm System
A new zone-based security alarm system was installed to monitor roller doors and fire exits, divided into distinct alarm zones.
The system integrates directly with the access control, allowing arming and disarming via authorised credentials only, with automated alerts via the cloud hosted web platform, providing back to base calling, SMS alerts and email notifications.
CCTV System Upgrade
With no functional CCTV surveillance in place, Frigcorp designed and installed a fully digital IP CCTV system which now delivers full-site visibility from the fingertips of site management, providing improved operational security and safety for its occupants.

Video Intercom System
A new video intercom solution was installed at primary entrances, featuring:
- Camera-enabled intercom stations
- Central reception display
- Optional call routing to mobile security
- Integrated door release functionality
The Result
Mitsubishi Electric now operates on a fully integrated, scalable security platform combining access control, alarm monitoring, CCTV, and intercom systems under a single unified backend.
The upgrade improved site security, simplified administration, enhanced reporting capability, and future-proofed the facility for continued growth.
